★New Single★If I Could Be Like You★

Castlecomer have returned in 2017 with a huge nugget of guitar pop in the form of latest single “If I Could Be Like You”. The release comes off the back of their inclusion on the SXSW 2017 Line Up in Austin, Texas.

The band took one day out of their East Coast Tour in December to lay down the track at Forbes St Studios with JP Fung (Last Dinosaurs, Client Liaison), with Mastering by Joe LaPorta (The Weeknd, David Bowie, The Naked and Famous).

Of the song, front man Bede says “I wrote this song on a baby bass guitar that I bought on Gumtree for $60. I’ll never sell it now. The aim was to write a song that people would immediately dance to – I hope they do”.

Castlecomer are hosting a USA Fundraiser Party on February 16th at Sydney's Brighton Up Bar that is selling fast.

Castlecomer are a band from Sydney Australia. They are 2 brothers, 2 cousins and a best friend who make alternative guitar pop ready made for huge dance parties and crowd sing-a-longs. The band, in their early 20's, cut their teeth performing 500 shows in 3 years in Australian pubs and clubs, building their home-town fan base with their powerful tunes and five-part harmonies. In 2015 the band decided to 'take music seriously' and frontman Bede wrote 50 songs in 6 months resulting in their EP "All of the Noise" which has garnered over 2 million streams on Spotify in under a year led by hit single "Fire Alarm" which has charted on US Alternative Radio. The band are Bede (vox) & Patch (drums) & Tommy (guitars) & Neely (keys) & Joe (bass).
